Big corbels can be found in many historic places and on monumental buildings. Often they support (sometimes constructive) beams and balconies or they are showpieces on facades. They come in many shapes and sizes, depending on the building style. Certain elements often come back in the designs : the oak leaves, the scrolls (the curl), and on the sides often a rosette.
Reszto has produced many big corbels over the years. Below you will find some examples in possession of Reszto. A lot of the moulds are still present; others can be reproduced by a new mould. It also happens that reconstructions of these ornaments are necessary, for example if the original is removed and only some old pictures or drawings are left.
